During the last rehearsal on Chingay 2013, I have a chance to shoot the final finale event. It was full of joy and fun during the last moment. The “Fire & Snow” create a tremendous atmosphere on the entire F1 Pit. This capture halts everything at that moment… Amazing joy from the performer facial expression. Wish this can be repeated on every Chingay.Healthy atmosphere (2013)

I was a Chingay volunteer in 2015, the year of SG50, and my second time doing so as I really loved the atmosphere, the crowd, the performances, and the spirit of Chingay! I captured this photo near the end when confetti were raining on us, and the colours, coupled with the theme song "Dreams" sang by JJ Lin, really resonated with me. I particularly love this photo as it captured the dedicated performers, the hardworking crew, lively audience, and the varied colours that make Singapore, Singapore. Hence, naming this using lyrics of the theme song, "I believe we'll shine, we'll rise above, we'll fly".Chingay 2015

Madam was part of the organizing committee since the first Chingay in 1973. She was involved in all Chingays until 2020, when she passed.
